A greater Phoenix community art project with strings attached sponsored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona in cooperation with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and Fender Musical Instruments Corporation of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Illustrator / Artist Barbara Samanich and her husband, Metal Smith Hoss Rogers, collaborated on this fanciful tribute to Phoenix-based rock band Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. Both award- |
winning artists, Samanich and Rogers took an innovative approach to the design by combining their talents and mediums to create the ultimate mixed media 10 foot tall Fender Stratocaster.
